HD Powder-Coated Red Pedestrian Barrier - 2.3m - 12mm Inserts
The Heavy Duty red pedestrian barrier is the powder-coated, high-visibility version of the Securasite HD barrier range. It carries the same 12mm heavy insert, balled foot, hook and eye and fully welded specification as the galvanised HD barrier, with a red powder-coat finish applied over the steel frame. Red is the most widely used colour for pedestrian barriers across UK construction, infrastructure and events. It is the default colour choice when a project or site plan specifies a standard barrier colour, when a contractor wants their fleet to present consistently, and when a high-visibility finish is needed alongside the HD structural specification.
Hook and eye connectors are the market standard for HD pedestrian barriers. Securasite HD barriers in red connect directly with other HD barriers from any supplier using hook and eye connectors, making the red barrier practical for mixed-fleet deployments, hire company stock and large project supplies where barriers come from more than one source. The fully welded frame has no loose components, which holds up through the repeated deployment, retrieval and restacking cycles typical of hire fleet operation and large-scale event or infrastructure work.
For projects or programmes where the red colour needs to match a specific brand shade, the HD Bespoke RAL option allows powder coating to any RAL number. For red barriers with factory-fitted name plate branding, the Heavy Duty Pedestrian Barrier with Name Plate is available separately.
