Heavy Duty Galvanised Pedestrian Barrier 2.3m
The HD galvanised pedestrian barrier is the fully welded, heavy specification option in the Securasite barrier range. Built around 12mm heavy inserts, a balled foot and hook and eye connectors, it is heavier, more rigid and more demanding in construction than the standard 5mm insert, wrap-around connector barrier.
Hook and eye connectors are the market standard format for HD pedestrian barriers across the UK. Securasite HD barriers connect directly with other HD barriers already on a hire fleet or a contractor's site without adapters or modification. On mixed sites where barriers come from more than one supplier or source, this compatibility makes integration straightforward. The balled foot gives a stable base on uneven ground and yard surfaces. The fully welded frame has no loose components, which matters when barriers go through repeated deployment, retrieval, stacking and redeployment cycles typical of hire operation and large project supply.
Galvanised steel gives corrosion resistance for outdoor use without the lead time or cost of a powder coat finish. Where colour is specified, the full HD range is available in seven standard RAL powder-coated colours, each on its own product page. Bespoke powder coating to any RAL number is available here. Name plate branding is also available on the Heavy Duty Pedestrian Barrier with Name Plate, which includes a 420x420mm plate factory-fitted before dispatch.
All Securasite barriers are manufactured at our West Midlands facility using a combination of robotic and manual welding. We supply direct to trade buyers, hire companies and project accounts, with depot stock held across the Midlands, North, East and South for nationwide delivery.
